The Garmin watch is probably the most popular gadget around when it comes to fitness and sports watches. This isn’t really surprising, as the features that this particular watch boast is truly unique and something that every coach would want their athletes to have. This watch is capable of accurately measuring a lot of details when it comes to the performance of its user.

And although it was first developed primarily for runners, people who are passionate about cycling are now also benefiting from this device. Just recently though, a model of this brand has become available for swimmers as well, making this product the must-have item for all tri-athletes. Below is a brief summary of how this product works for running, cycling, and swimming.

  1. Running – As earlier mentioned, the Garmin watch was first developed specifically for this activity. Through the use of the GPS technology installed in this device, it is able to calculate the exact distance its user was able to travel in relation to his starting point. This watch also monitors the speed the user is currently in, helping him become informed of how fast he can really run. These information is important for the athlete so that he will be able to review all his previous exercises and know exactly how much he is improving.
