Crash Diets and Losing Weight
The classic crash diet is one that severely limits the diet of the one wishing to lose weight. Although the diet is generally unhealthy, mostly due to lack of nutrition in the diet, it can work as long as it is used once, and with a long time between applications. The problem is to find a way to enjoy some variety while starving oneself in order to ensure weight loss.
A 1000 calorie diet menu has two basic variants. The first is a menu that has a lot of great choices, but has no carbohydrates the idea is that by eliminating the carbohydrates, the dieter will quickly lose weight. This works mostly when the dieter must lose a few pounds in a short period and is willing to try anything.

Another version of the 1000 calorie diet menu is to cook a large vegetable soup at the beginning of the week, and to eat nothing but the soup during the week the variations of this are named on either the main ingredient of the soup, or the fruit that is eaten as a snack (along with various meats, a few crackers or slice of bread, and cottage cheese) during the week. Both of these diets work, but usually only temporary the dieter must accept a better lifestyle in order to keep the weight off permanently.
All diets should be done on the advice of one’s doctor. Not everyone should diet in some cases the would-be dieter is at their perfect weight and is suffering from one of several eating ailments, or is not advised to lose weight due to other considerations, such as pregnancy. Obviously make sure that you are dieting for the right reasons, and not just to fit into dress healthy eating habits and exercise are always better than crash diet in the long run.
