What Is Weight Watchers and How It Works

One of the best weight lost products and programs offered and sold in the world today is the WeightWatchers. They emphasize mainly on effective and efficient diet plans based on three easy theories.

The two main diet plans of the WeightWatchers system are the Flex Plan and Core Plan.

First, the main focus on these diet plans is controlling and limiting your daily calorie consumption.

Secondly, the plan encourages and emphasize on constant exercise in conjunction with the diet plan.

Thirdly, a team of weight watchers will guide and help you to make good choices on your food consumptions.

By following to the Flex Plan, you will have more food choices and you are allowed to eat your favorite foods. However, you have to control the amount of these foods you consume daily based on a point system.

Each food is given a point value and these points represent the calories that are contained in them. This is simple dieting plan. All you have to do is keep track and limit your calorie consumption each day based on your height, weight, age and gender.

Next is the Core Diet. The core diet does not have a point system like the flex plan. It emphasizes more on eating healthy foods. Healthy foods mean meals that contain high amount of vegetables, grains, fruits and starches.

This diet plan is suitable for busy people who do not have time to remember and keep track of the calories they have consumed each day. By following this diet, it can benefit your heart and prevent several health problems such as constipation. After reading all this, you might think that weight watchers is not for you and thats fine. Other diet programs like the jenny craig diet is equally effective too.

However, no matter which plan you decide to follow, you must be fully committed to it in order to be satisfied with your weight loss. Keep yourself motivated to lose weight by setting a target on how much weight you can lose in a week or month.
